Established 1941, Kawakou started selling selected premium seaweed. We are famous for our thick, fresh and crunchy dried seaweed. Everyone loves Kawakou's seaweed, especially kids!

We have moved to Kuromon Market from the 6th of May this year!
Our top quality seaweed 'Murasaki no Ue' is named after the beautiful character 'Murasaki no Ue' from 'Genji Story'.
